Our Doctors have a special interest in Skin Cancer medicine, and with no referral necessary we make it easy for you to get your skin checked! We also perform Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery at an affordable price.

Fees and Payments

Our doctors charge a standard consultation fee, of which a portion will be rebated by Medicare. Bulk Billing is available for a standard consultation for DVA card holders only.

Payment methods accepted: Cash, Eftpos, Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard). Please note we do not accept American Express.

Dr David Nicholson

MBBS(hons) FRACGP Dip Dermoscopy

Dr David Nicholson obtained his medical degree from Monash University in 1997 and has been working in skin cancer medicine since 2004. He has completed a Diploma of Dermoscopy and further qualifications in skin cancer surgery.

David is a fellow of RACGP and a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.

When not working, David enjoys all things outdoors, and is happily married with two lovely children.

Dr Jenny Altermatt

Dr Jenny Altermatt studied at Melbourne University and Royal Melbourne Hospital, as well as completed further studies in Women’s Health and Children’s Health in the UK. Dr Altermatt has now been working in Skin Cancer for over 8 years, also working part time as a GP.Dr Altermatt’s interests include spending time with her family and dogs, as well as yoga, skiing and keeping generally active and well.

Dr Sally McIlroy

Dr Sally McIlroy completed her medical training at the University of Melbourne in 1992 followed by further training in general practice. She is a fellow of the RACGP.

Sally has been working in general practice for over 20 years.

In the last four years she has undertaken further training in skin cancer medicine and surgery, and now works exclusively in this area.

Outside work, her interests include swimming, tai chi, mindfulness and spending time with her family.
