Dr Hasan Khwaja

Dr Khwaja graduated in 1989 and came to Australia in 1992. After spending several years in different hospitals across Melbourne he started in General Practice in 1998.  He obtained his Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2002.  Dr Khwaja has a special interest in general dermatology and also of skin cancer medicine.  He obtained his diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University, UK in 2005.  He also holds a certificate of Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine and Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery from the University of Queensland.

Dr Ben Wallis

Dr Wallis graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2000 and began working in skin cancer medicine in 2010. During this period he has worked with the Victorian Melanoma Service and has completed the Australian Dermatology Diploma. He then went on to receive his Masters of Skin Cancer Medicine at Queensland University in 2016.  

Away from work he spends time with his family and enjoys taking his son to tennis and swimming.

Dr David Parsons

Dr Parsons commenced working in skin cancer medicine in 2008.  He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and obtained a Fellowship of the College of General Practitioners in 2004.  He has honed his skills in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment with regular participation in skin cancer conferences featuring international speakers and hands-on surgical skills workshops. He is enrolled in ongoing educational activities to improve knowledge and skills.

He is a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australia (SCCA) and participates in their educational activities.  He is proficient in the use of the hand-held dermatoscope, a magnifying device which allows greater accuracy in the diagnosis of skin lesions than the naked eye alone.

Dr Madhawa Silva

Dr Silva graduated in 2012 from the University of Adelaide. He spent the next 3 years working across all different specialty fields in Eastern Health before involving himself in general practice. He commenced the training program in 2017 and will obtain his Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in May 2019.
Dr Silva has completed his Advanced Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine and attended numerous skin cancer and skin surgery workshops and conferences. He is looking forward to completing his Masters in Skin Cancer Medicine this coming year.

Dr Nalinee Devapalasundaram

Dr Dev is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and has been working as a General Practitioner in Melbourne for over 20 years.  She has a special interest in dermatology and has worked in skin cancer medicine since 2011.

Dr Dev holds a certificate from the Australian College of Skin Cancer Medicine.

Dr Vaughan Speck

Dr Vaughan Speck

Dr Vaughan Speck graduated from the University of Western Australia and spent many years in General Practice in rural Victoria, before developing an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine.

Over the past 10 years, Vaughan has attained numerous Skin Cancer Medicine qualifications and regularly attends Skin Cancer conferences. He was involved in his local Division of General Practice and also in Accreditation and has an interest in improving systems in medical practice in order to improve the patient’s quality of care and professional satisfaction.

Dr Speck is currently ASCC's State Medical Director for Victoria.
