Dr Katy Harvey
Dr. Katy Harvey graduated from Oxford University in 2008 with First Class Honours. She moved to Melbourne in 2011 and has obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG), a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Katy has worked exclusively in skin cancer medicine since 2014.
Katy has obtained a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy and a Professional Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, in addition to Certificates in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery, Skin Cancer Therapeutics and an Advanced Certificate in Dermatoscopy and Histopathology from HealthCert and The University of Queensland. In 2018, she was awarded the International Short Course in Dermoscopy (ISCD) by the Medical University of Graz, taught in Austria by world renowned experts in the field of skin cancer.
She has a passion for excellence in patient care and values the importance of further training throughout her career. Katy is a Senior Lecturer with The University of Queensland School of Medicine, teaching to a Masters level. She is also a regular surgical demonstrator for HealthCert, the only university-certified skin cancer education courses in the Australia.
Dr Vaughan Speck
Dr Vaughan Speck graduated from the University of Western Australia and has been practising Skin Cancer Medicine for the past 10 years.
He has attained numerous Skin Cancer Medicine qualifications and regularly attends Skin Cancer conferences.
Dr Jessica Maher
Dr Jessica Maher is originally from Queensland and completed her medical degree in 2006 at the James Cook University in Northern Queensland. She has recently completed her general Practice training.
Jessica has an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and minor procedures and enjoys educating patients about sun protection and prevention of skin cancers.
She is looking forward to furthering her skin cancer skills by obtaining certificates in skin cancer medicine.
Dr Sheetal Vig
MBBS, BSC, MRCGP, FRACGP, Dip. Skin Cancer, Dip. Dermatology
Dr Sheetal Vig graduated in 2008 from King’s College London with both a Bachelor of Science and MBBS degree. After working in busy hospitals in London for five years, she obtained her Fellowship from the Royal College of General Practice (UK) in 2014. Sheetal moved to Australia in 2016 and achieved Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practice. Since her move she has worked in Sydney, rural Victoria and has happily settled in Melbourne.
She has gained since arriving, a Professional Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine (QLD University), Professional Diploma of Dermoscopy (QLD University), Professional Certificates in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine, Advanced Skin Cancer Medicine (QLD University), Prof Cert Dermoscopy (Australian College of Dermatology), Professional Certificate Advanced Dermoscopy (Bond Uni), Prof Cert of Skin Cancer Surgery, Prof Cert of Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery, and Professional Certificate in Aesthetic Medicine. Sheetal strives to further develop her Skin Cancer and Dermatology knowledge and is currently completing a Professional Diploma of Dermatology, before aiming to complete the Professional Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery in 2021. Sheetal is also a member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia and an Associate Fellow of the Skin Cancer Institute (AFSCI).
Dr Linda Le
Dr Linda Le graduated from Flinders University in 1999 and gained Fellowship with RACGP in 2004. She has worked in both the UK and Australia in General Practice for over 10 years.
Upon developing an interest in skin cancer management, Dr Le completed post-graduate qualifications in Dermatoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery making her highly qualified and experienced in this area.
Some of Dr Le’s other interest include Child Health, working with the Australian Defence Force and the Australian Redcross Blood Service.
Melissa Kwee BSc, MBBS, FRACGP
After completing her Bachelor of science from University of British Columbia (B.C., Canada), Dr. Melissa Kwee relocated to Melbourne where she completed her Bachelor of medicine, Bachelor of surgery (MBBS) at Monash University in 2011. After internship year and HMO years at Frankston Hospital she then obtained her fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) in 2019. She is currently completing her Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery and Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
