Dr Katy Harvey
Dr. Katy Harvey graduated from Oxford University in 2008 with First Class Honours. She moved to Melbourne in 2011 and has obtained a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG), a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP). Katy has worked exclusively in skin cancer medicine since 2014.
Katy has obtained a Professional Diploma in Dermoscopy and a Professional Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, in addition to Certificates in Primary Care Skin Cancer Medicine, Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery, Skin Cancer Therapeutics and an Advanced Certificate in Dermatoscopy and Histopathology from HealthCert and The University of Queensland. In 2018, she was awarded the International Short Course in Dermoscopy (ISCD) by the Medical University of Graz, taught in Austria by world renowned experts in the field of skin cancer.
She has a passion for excellence in patient care and values the importance of further training throughout her career. Katy is a Senior Lecturer with The University of Queensland School of Medicine, teaching to a Masters level. She is also a regular surgical demonstrator for HealthCert, the only university-certified skin cancer education courses in the Australia.
Dr Anu Achar
Dr Anu Achar has been working in General Practice since 2006 and has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of Skin cancers since it is such an integral part of General Practice. She shares her time between General Practice and Skin cancer practice.
Dr Achar has completed a Diploma in Dermatology from the Australian Institute of Dermatology and holds an Advanced Clinical Certificate in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery from the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Vaughan Speck
Dr Vaughan Speck graduated from the University of Western Australia and has been practising Skin Cancer Medicine for the past 10 years.
He has attained numerous Skin Cancer Medicine qualifications and regularly attends Skin Cancer conferences.
Dr Jessica Maher
Dr Jessica Maher is originally from Queensland and completed her medical degree in 2006 at the James Cook University in Northern Queensland. She has recently completed her general Practice training.
Jessica has an interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and minor procedures and enjoys educating patients about sun protection and prevention of skin cancers.
She is looking forward to furthering her skin cancer skills by obtaining certificates in skin cancer medicine.
Dr Sheetal Vig
Dr Sheetal Vig graduated in 2008 from King’s College London with both Bachelor of Science and MBBS degree. After completing her two year foundation training Sheetal went onto to work at several busy trauma centres around England.
She obtained her MRCGP in 2014 after three years of varied rotations in extremely busy London hospitals.
After working as a GP in London for a few years, Sheetal decided to make a move over to Australia in 2016, then obtained her FRACGP.
Since arriving she has developed a keen interest in skin cancer medicine, dedicating herself to further training in this area. She has gained several qualifications including a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine, certificates in Primary Care Skin Cancer Surgery and Medicine, Dermoscopy, Advanced Skin Cancer Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.
Sheetal has incorporated her training in skin cancer medicine into her GP clinics, recently being the sole skin cancer provider in a rural town.
Dr Linda Le
Dr Linda Le graduated from Flinders University in 1999 and gained Fellowship with RACGP in 2004. She has worked in both the UK and Australia in General Practice for over 10 years.
Upon developing an interest in skin cancer management, Dr Le completed post-graduate qualifications in Dermatoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Skin Cancer Surgery making her highly qualified and experienced in this area.
Some of Dr Le’s other interest include Child Health, working with the Australian Defence Force and the Australian Redcross Blood Service.
