Dr Jeremy Hay
Jeremy has ten years of experience as a rural GP in New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs.
He has a long-standing interest in skin cancer and has Diplomas in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery. Jeremy has recently achieved Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Shamini Wiknesh
Shamini obtained her MBBS and trained in General surgery and cardiology in tertiary hospitals in Sri Lanka. She completed General Practice training in Victoria and is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). During the first 6 years in Australia she has worked in several leading hospitals and rural Victoria. She has successfully completed the certificate of Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery and Advanced Clinical Certificate of in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
Shamini has recently achieved Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr Nadeeja Jayasinghe
Nadeeja obtained her MBBS from Manipal University, India in 2008. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP’s and a member of Skin Cancer College of Australasia. She has successfully completed the Certificate of Dermoscopy, Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery, Advanced Clinical Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery, Advanced Clinical Certificate of Dermoscopy and Fellowship Part 1.
Nadeeja has recently achieved Fellowship with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Dr David Parsons
Dr Parsons commenced working in Skin Cancer medicine in 2008. He is a graduate of the University of Melbourne and obtained a Fellowship of the College of General Practitioners in 2004.
He has honed his skills in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment with regular participation in skin cancer conferences featuring international speakers and hands-on surgical skills workshops.
He is proficient in the use of the hand-held dermatoscope, a magnifying device which allows greater accuracy in the diagnosis of skin lesions than the naked eye alone.
Dr Novreen Rasool
Dr Rasool moved to Australia in 2007 and has work in General Practice and General Surgery.
She has developed a keen interest in the early detection and management of both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer. She has successfully undertaken a large number of procedures to the nose, cheek, eyelids, ears, lips, digits and legs, and is an expert in both surgical and non-surgical treatments of skin cancers.
Novreen has completed further training in Skin Cancer, gaining status as an Associate Fellow in Skin Cancer Medicine, holding an Advanced Diploma in Dermoscopy, and is a Fellow of Royal Australasian College Of General Practice.
